Operation guide

• Considering that some materials are dangerous goods, it is recommended to post all dangerous goods safety data lists at the production site.
• Avoid direct contact with toxic materials.
• All employees must be familiar with the use and cleaning methods of dangerous goods.
• Safety goggles must be worn at all times in the work area.
• If there is any steam or dust on the site, adequate ventilation must be ensured.
• All equipment, including spray guns, wires, lights, transportation lines, etc., must be explosion-proof and have measures to eliminate static electricity.
• Do not over mix unsaturated polyester resin, vinyl ester resin and gel coat. Over mixing will destroy thixotropy and cause sagging in production. At the same time, it will also lead to monomer loss and voids in the product. It is recommended that the materials be fully mixed for about ten minutes before use.
• In the production process, the curing agent must be mixed evenly. In order to ensure sufficient curing, the process route must be strictly followed.

Storage Guide

• Liquid materials, including unsaturated polyester resin, vinyl ester resin, gel coat and adhesive, have a certain shelf life. After the shelf life, it will produce gel or even hardening if it is not reinforced. The deterioration time depends on different formulation systems and storage conditions.
• All unsaturated polyester resin, vinyl ester resin, gel coat and adhesive must be stored below 23 ºC and away from direct sunlight.
• When the storage temperature increases by 10 ºC, the shelf life of the resin will be reduced by half. Therefore, the shelf life of some fast curing materials will be shorter than that of standard products.
• The minimum storage temperature of resin shall not be lower than 16 ºC. If the resin becomes cold, it is recommended to stir correctly before use.
• If the resin is stored outdoors, it must be kept away from sunlight, heat sources and other elements, such as water, snow, ice, etc. There shall be no ponding on the barrel cover. Once the barrel is opened, the vacuum in the barrel caused by temperature difference will mix these water into the resin. Once the resin is opened, the shelf life will be shortened. It is recommended to follow the principle of "first start, first use" when using resin.
• Pollutants will have a great impact on the stability of the resin. It is recommended that the resin be sealed and maintained when not in use.
• Considering the limitation of shelf life, shake before using stale materials.
