Solvent-Free Epoxy Floor Primer-Mid Integrated Coating

Product introduction:

E811-2 solvent-free primer-in-one paint is a solvent-free epoxy resin varnish, which is composed of liquid epoxy resin, low viscosity solid chemical composition. It can be used as a primer, or quartz sand of appropriate particle size can be added as an intermediate paint according to needs.

Product use:

Industrial plants, warehouses, underground parking lots, office spaces, etc.

Features and advantages:

Good penetration and adhesion to porous substrates such as concrete

Strong adhesion, forming a physical anchoring state with the cement base after curing

High solid content, low VOC emissions and low odor

Not suitable for surfaces where the surface is very smooth and dense, and the pores cannot be opened by polishing to achieve penetration.

Product Information:

The material is divided into two components: A and B

Component A: Transparent liquid 20kg/barrel

Component B: brown red liquid 10kg/barrel

Ratio: A:B=2:1

Packaging: Printed metal packaging drum. It is recommended to stack it in three layers when stacking.

Storage: The storage temperature is 5-35ºC. It should be stored in a cool, ventilated and dry warehouse, away from fire and heat sources. It is strictly prohibited to expose it to the sun.

Condition: uniform, no lumps, no impurities

Bonding strength: ≥2.5MPa

Drying time:(Temperature is 25ºC, relative humidity is 50%)

Surface dry: less than 4 hours

Solid Dry: less than 24 hours

Instructions for use:

Surface treatment: Before construction, dust, sand, cement laitance, grease, old coatings, etc. should be removed from the base surface, and polished to form a rough surface to open the capillary pores on the base surface.
Theoretical dosage: about 0.15 kg/square meter
Ratio: A:B=2:1 (weight ratio), mix evenly before construction.
Opening time: Materials A and B should be used within 20 minutes after mixing. If the viscosity of the material is found to be significantly increased, it cannot be used anymore and should be discarded.

7 Step Guide on How to Apply Epoxy Floor Paint

Step 1. Preparing the surface before applying the epoxy
Step 2. Sweeping and cleaning of the floor
Step 3. How to Apply Epoxy: Prime the floor with a suitable epoxy primer
Step 4. Fill all cracks, holes etc with epoxy grout.
Step 5. Application of the first coat of epoxy paint
Step 6. Final Sanding and Filling before applying the final epoxy floor paint
Step 7 Apply the final coat.

 

Construction Conditions:

1. Substrate requirements
The painted surface of architectural coatings must be dry, firm, clean and smooth;
Dry: the floor humidity is lower than 6%RH, and the PH value is less than 10;
Firmness: no loose powder, no loose patent leather on the old ground;
Clean: Free of oil, grease, mildew, algae and other adherents.
2. Construction environment:
The ground temperature should not be lower than 5ºC, and the ambient humidity should be lower than 85%RH to ensure good film formation.
3. Construction precautions:

This product can be appropriately added with diluent depending on different construction methods and construction environments, but the dilution ratio should be strictly controlled. Excessive dilution of the main agent and curing agent must be mixed in the correct proportion. The main agent should be mixed with an electric mixer first. Then slowly add the curing agent and stir well.
